About Us / Overview / FAQ's
A little history, please. How and when did your company get into the imprinted T-shirt business? Who are your customers today?
We started our Direct on Garment (DOG) printing approximately 3.5 years ago. It has been tremendously successful and we continue to improve our process. We use the Kornit machine exclusively and it allows us to print on dark or colored T-shirts which is something most other companies have not been able to do. Our customers cover a very broad spectrum from large promotional companies to the smaller family and private owned shops.
We want to give the corporate reader/buyer/decision-maker some practical, "how-to" info, so, how should they select the right T-shirt? And how should they decorate it? What else do they need to know to make purchasing tees the right decision?
Finding the right T-shirt is important; it needs to be soft and comfortable. In our company the 6 oz cotton T is the most popular and fits every body type. There are a number of applications that can be used in decorating a T-shirt, our DOG process is extremely popular. We are able to use unlimited colors and we can even create shading affects. We can get as detailed as flames that look like a real fire on the shirt. With screen printing you are limited in the designs you can create and with our Kornit machine the ideas are as limited as your imagination.
What is popular these days? Trends? New style introductions? Hot colors? Styles? Please comment on trends such as tagless tees, sleeveless tees, raglan sleeves, color blocks, and more.
Tagless tees are quite popular these days for the comfort level. It is nice not to have a scratchy tag itching your neck. Raglan sleeves and color blocked shirts are becoming more and more popular in the corporate world. Our Poly-Dri (moisture wicking) polo's are increasingly making there way into the boardroom as more companies go to a business casual environment.
How about the impact of moisture-wicking and other innovative fabrics?
Our Poly-Dri fabric has really taken off in sales. Especially in the more humid climates. Moisture wicking fabric used to be solely found on the athletic field and now it has become a main stream fabric that men and women wear everyday.
Where do you see the promotional T-shirt business heading? What new products do you have in the pipeline?
The promotional T-shirt business is just going to keep growing. Ladies T’s and youth sizes are becoming more and more popular. Also colored T’s are a growing industry.
What is the message about your T-shirts you would most like the corporate buyer to hear?
Our T’s are affordable and our decorating is something that no other company has been able to duplicate. We are continuously working to create new and more exciting ways to decorate and improve our processes.
