Where do you see corporate demand coming from? Which industries are using athletic wear in the corporate branding?
Most of our products are used within the corporate community as we have branched out into decidedly unique decorating techniques on our products. We see corporate executives to mail room clerks and everyone in between using our products as a corporate uniform. We have a wide range of clients who utilize our moisture wicking brand (Poly-Dri) for everyday wear in the office.
What kind of events and users are particularly good for corporate branding using athletic wear?
We have seen a rise in our Poly-Dri for team building exercises within corporations.
How much do performance characteristics matter these days?
Tremendously, there is a wide variety of performance apparel in the market. Something that sets Colorado Timberline apart is that we do not treat our fabric with chemicals to achieve our moisture wicking capabilities; it is knitted in the fabric and never wears out.
What are some of the trends in athletic wear (eg, what colors, styles and features are popular)?
Over the last year our youth sports garments have become quite popular. In particular the moisture wicking Poly-Dri sport shirts.
Are there any pieces (eg, hoodies, t-shirts, etc) that are particularly popular?
Our modular athletic suit is a growing item in our product line. Its unique modular design allows the sleeves to zip off at both the shoulder and a short sleeve. The pants of the suit zip off into a 9" short.
For the corporate buyer, could you explain such terms as moisture-wicking, anti-microbial, UV protection or other performance terms that he or she may not understand or be aware of? Could you explain how such performance features may enhance a promotional product?
Colorado Timberline features a unique moisture wicking line of garments named Poly-Dri. Moisture wicking allows moisture from the body to be pulled away from the skin and to evaporate off the garment with no visible signs of perspiration. It keeps the wearer cool in hot weather and allows for comfortable athletic activities.
